I am currently serving life without parole in Tutwiler Prison for Women's in Alabama. Before the age of 13, I was subjected to physical, emotional and sexual abuse. and becuase of abuse and my life style, I have been in prison since 1999 at age 15.

I am writing you to editorialize my story :
This fall the U.S. Supreme Court will hear to important cases involving the incarceration fo juveniles sentence to life without the possibility of parole. See Sullivan v. Florida and Graham v. Florida, Should Juveniles be granted a second chance at life if adults convicted of the same crimes are pardon. While the law clearly provides for pardon and parole of adult murders and sex offenders in Alabama.

As a little girl growing up in Montgomery Alabama I was subjected to all types of physical, mental and sexually abused. In the summer 1999. I did not realize my action or it consequences. Because of the abuse inflicted upon me and threat to my life and the lack of guidance I ended up her in prison.I was influence to associate with bad elements in my environment that lead me to understand now how things went wrong in my life. There is so much that I have missed over the years, such as church, family and freedom. The person that threaten me also killed the person that resulted in my incarcerate at Julia Tutwiler Prison for Women's.
I am asking that you become a fan and help me in getting a pardon from the Alabama Pardon and Parole Commission. Some of the same people whom victimized me as a child are free citizens and some have been pardon for their sex crimes. I wish to have a second chance in life, Since I have been here in Tutwiler I have had a stroke and several minor operations because of my poor health at age 25. Words can't explain my hurt and guilt for the loss of the victims family. Despite having a jury trial, my lawyer never prepared a defense for me or presented any witnesses for my defense. Considering that this was not the first time my co-defendants had killed and I feared for my life, knowing his apprehension to carry out his threats to take a persons life. However, The State of Alabama presented their case and I was convicted and sentence to life without parole.
While the U.S. Supreme Court decides the Sullivan v. Florida and Graham v. Florida, I am asking that you consider my case for support.Each day I try to stay on the bright side of things, but its lonely and tearful at times knowing that you can be for gotten over time. I am so sadden when I read the news papers and see that convicted felons, sex offenders and murders are granted pardons and given a second chance at life. I realized that setting here doing nothing want chance things for me, So I am asking for your help to write the Governor of Alabama and the State Pardon & Parole Board to consider and grant me a pardon to start a new chapter in my life.
